The CAQF have produced a generic document to inform developers of the criteria used when deciding if a proposed development would require an Air Quality Assessment (AQA).
AQAs may be required for developments within an Air Quality Management Area and will inform planners of the potential impacts a development may have on air quality, particularly from a traffic-related perspective. An AQA will also assess how changes in air quality may impact future and existing residents.
